We all know that children love dinosaurs but very few of them get to experience firsthand the traces of the distant past. In 2005 we were given access to a private collection of ammonites and petrified wood from Madagascar and were able to arrange workshops with groups of children from the Hong Kong Christian Service nursery schools. The children were able to handle these artifacts and make drawings of them as they learnt about life eons ago.
