“Inter-Sections: New Music for Kids” was an innovative programme for children aged 5 to 15 years, featuring performances of cutting-edge music for Chinese and Western instruments, from Prokofiev to Debussy to beyond. The programme also included a wide range of workshops, involving adventurous music making that was introduced in a fun and informative way. The programme was led by award-winning conductor Perry So (Assistant Conductor, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra) and showcased an excellent chamber ensemble. “New Music for Kids” was presented by the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble and supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
